How good’s your memory of 2024 in film? Here’s our film quiz of the year, covering the big movies and news stories of the past 12 months…

Our final film quiz of the year is all about 2024 – a 24-question mega-round covering a long and sometimes confusing year in cinema. Before long, you might need a minute to remember whether Better Man or Monkey Man starred Robbie Williams, so we thought it was best to do the usual trivia round-up (and our annual box-office bonus game) while it’s still fresh in your memory. There are no prizes for full marks or a high score, so feel free to play against friends and family over the festive period for the simple glory of bragging rights.

Once you’ve finished the quiz, you’ll find a link to a separate post with the correct answers at the bottom of this page. Thank you for everyone who’s played along with Film Quiz Friday this year and I’ll be back in 2025 with more weekly quizness. As ever, please do get in touch in the comments and let us know how you did (scores out of 34, this time!) and give us any other lovely feedback. Now that I’m done for the year, I’m going back to the cluuuuubbb…
