Due to non-work circumstances – it’s been quite a few months – we’ve not been able to put on as many of our live shows this year as normal. But still, the Film Stories Live show is back, and returning to its home base of Birmingham later this month.
The show is 90 minutes, and hosted by Simon Brew (that’s me, but I have to write this story as if it isn’t). In that hour and a half you’re getting nerdy film chat, terrible jokes, and local filmmakers come along and tell us their stories too. Plus, the already-infamous game at the end where non-high-quality prizes are dished out.
It’s a light film conversation show at heart, part of our ongoing commitment to UK film and film events outside of London.
Film Stories Live takes place at the Midlands Arts Centre in Birmingham on Wednesday 25th September. The start time is 7.30pm. There’s even a car park outside. Tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased here.
