If you’ve ever wanted to watch Hugh Jackman breathing heavily, this is your chance as Marvel releases a whopping 8-hour video of it.
It’s only been two weeks since Marvel announced the cast of Avengers: Doomsday over a livestream that went on for over 5 hours. We weren’t too keen on it – read Ryan’s thoughts on it here – but over 250 million Marvel fans tuned in to see who would be appearing in the next Avengers film.
The studio seems to have found a love for very, very long videos as they debuted a new one yesterday (8th April).
You can watch over 8 hours – yes, you read that right – of Hugh Jackman breathing on the Marvel Entertainment Youtube channel. Dressed in the iconic yellow Wolverine suit, the video consists almost solely of Jackman breathing, with a slight growl to every breath.

Every couple of hours in the video, Jackman does strike a very iconic Wolverine pose from the comics. Otherwise, the video, titled “Wolverine Breathing Exercise | Marvel Ambiance | Deadpool & Wolverine” is weirdly reminiscent of those Netflix and Youtube videos of fireplaces you could have on in the background. Now that you mention it, the video is kind of soothing. Jackman is very good at breaking, we must say.
Jackman’s name wasn’t on the cast list for Avengers: Doomsday, but many fans are now hoping the video is a hint that the actor will in fact return. Studio head Kevin Feige has already promised more cast announcements are coming, so we’ll just have to wait and see if Jackman will be included.
