Addicted To Rageahol

A launch trailer has arrived for Rage 2 ahead of its 14th May release date and it’s quite something. If you haven’t watched it yet, a spectacularly bonkers experience awaits you below.

Bethesda’s follow up to 2011’s post-apocalyptic FPS is set to feature the encouraging voice of Danny Dyer if you use a ‘Diamond Geezer’ cheat code. Absolutely no real reason to mention that here, we just keep remembering that it’s an option and briefly fading out of existence.

Hook It Up To Your Vein

You can now register to have a crack at the much-anticipated Code Vein. From Software’s Bandai Namco’s title is in the process of being scheduled for an upcoming closed network test. Click dis.

Dawn Of A New Era

Until Dawn was a nice little horror hit for developer Supermassive, but it’s in no rush to make a proper sequel. Instead, it’s happily focusing on the release of Man Of Medan this summer, pursuing an anthology series direction. The new title will still have that compelling slash frustrating ‘choose your own adventure’ gameplay, but this time your (likely doomed in myriad ways) characters will be out to sea, searching for a WWII shipwreck.

“On an anthology, it’s a great opportunity to wrestle with a new subject, a new genre, and with characters that you can develop specifically for that story. You’re not tied to historical characters that you have to use,” director Tom Heaton told Game Informer.

“If we were making sequels (to Until Dawn), we don’t know who survived,” added producer Dan McDonald. “I mean we could probably work it out from your game save, but we don’t want to make a sequel to that. We want to make a different story with different people.”

Two Point Lead

Sega seems happy with Farnham’s own Two Point Studios and its work on Two Point Hospital. Very happy, in fact, as Sega has now acquired the developer of last year’s rather winsome hospital management sim. The Two Point team are currently working on a handful of new games. Those will now be Sega’s games, naturally.

Finally Fantasy

Final Fantasy VII is back on the road to reality. Sony’s State Of Play presentation threw a spotlight on the troubled remake, which is now coming out of Square Enix, and we even got a nice, reassuring teaser to watch:

It’s still 6 years away from our sweaty grasp, mind.

Stellar Is As Stellar Does

Sci-fi strategy game Stellaris will be available for a free trial this weekend on Steam. It’s weirdly relaxing, so that works for us.

If you love it, the Stellaris catalogue is flaunting major discounts to keep you interested when Monday rolls around.

It goes without saying that another fantastic addition to your weekend would be a brand new copy of Wireframe. Issue #13 is out now!
