A wise man once said that life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. But as the kids say nowadays …ain’t nobody got time for that.
Wireframe is summing up the most essential games news for you in bite-size chunks, as often as we can.

When Mue
Shenmue 3 has been pushed back another three months to 19th November.
“We feel that the extra time we have will help us deliver the true Shenmue experience players around the world deserve!” Publisher Deep Silver said in a statement. “We thank you for your patience and understanding.”
A message from YS NET & Deep Silver
Shenmue III will now release on 19th November 2019.
Whilst almost ready, the game simply needs a little more refinement before being truly finished. (1/2)

A November release date will pit Shenmue 3 against Death Stranding and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare. Risky.
Dragon Wagon
Square Enix is getting into the Pokémon Go business. Kinda! Dragon Walk, which is heading for a beta launch in Japan, will be an augmented-reality Dragon Quest game when it eventually arrives (though no one’s put a time estimate on it yet):
Fancy it?
Linkeye
Marvel Games’ VP & creative director Bill Rosemann is non-committal when it comes to the idea of the Avengers joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. When asked point blank if the crossover was a possibility, he delivered a pie-in-sky-esque answer that teased …basically nothing, but y’know.
“Well I mean, I can imagine anything,” Rosemann said. “You know, Hawkeye standing next to Link, and both shooting some arrows… I mean anything could happen, but I’m not the person that makes decisions such as that.”
Ah well, we still have our dreams. WE STILL HAVE OUR DREAMS.
Kings And Commodores
MSX platformer King’s Valley is coming to the C64 thanks to Psytronik Software and RE.BIT Magazine. The port will be C64 Mini and SD2IEC compatible! Keep an eye out for it over here.
Evil 3 2019
Shinji Mikami is coming to E3 2019. There’s no reason to believe he’ll be bringing news on The Evil Within 3 with him, but that hasn’t stopped virtually every fan of the franchise getting a little bit excited about it. Mikami’s studio, Tango Gameworks, hasn’t worked on anything since 2017’s The Evil Within 2, so it could go either way.
Streaming Magic
Joe and Anthony Russo, directors of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, are bringing a Magic: The Gathering TV series to Netflix. All we know right now is that the animation team behind The Dragon Prince is working on it, so we’ll have to sit tight and wait for more info beyond that.
“We have been huge fans and players of Magic: The Gathering for as long as it has been around,” the Russos said. “So being able to help bring these stories to life through animation is a true passion project for us.”
Patti Cakes
Coherence, a new online game development platform from Playdead co-founder Dino Patti and Unity co-founder David Helgason launching in 2020, is hoping to change the multiplayer game for devs big and small.
Per the bumf:
“Coherence gives you all the tools you need to turn your game into a connected interactive experience. You can make anything, from a 4-player game with highly scalable instancing, to a persistent virtual world that holds all your players.”
“Our editor plugin will help you utilise the power of the cloud, even if you have no experience with networked games. It handles everything from setup, data modeling, local and online testing to deployment. Using our SDK, you can dive deeper and custom-fit our technology into existing games.”

Dystopia Watch
The Amazon listing for Watch Dogs Legion (which has now disappeared) says it’s set in a post-Brexit London:
