Another huge selection of classic film props are up for auction, including items from Alien, The Evil Dead. Here’s what Propstore has listed this time around:

A new Propstore auction is here and, as always, there’s a wealth of goodies up for grabs for movie lovers.

The new auction goes on for three days and starts next Wednesday, 25th March. There’s an almost impossible amount of memorabilia from franchises and movies across film history, but this year, there seems to be a particularly potent spread of horror movie memorabilia.

There’s a lot to browse for fans of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead franchise. One exciting item is a prototype of the Book Of The Dead from the first film from 1981. It comes from the collection of special effects artist Tom Sullivan who has also provided other items for the auction. It’s currently estimated that the Book Of The Dead prototype might sell anywhere between $2,000 to $4,000.

One of the other items Sullivan has provided is this lost Necronomicon Ex-Mortis page from Evil Dead II. If you’ve seen the film, you know just how crucial these were for Ash (Bruce Campbell) to fight the forces of evil in the cabin he was stuck in with his friends.

If Evil Dead isn’t your thing, there’s also lots of good stuff from the Saw films. For fans of the original, there’s a Light Meter from the collection of the film’s director of photography, David A Armstrong. Estimated to go for up to $2,000, it also comes with a plethora of other stuff, including a case for the meter as well as a couple of shooting schedules.

We’ve been waiting for a while for Marvel to finally get a move on with Blade, but thankfully, we’ll always have Wesley Snipes’ vampire hunter. There are several of Blade’s weapons up for auction, such as this metal throwing glaive and this screen-matched SFX Daywalker Sword and Scabbard, as well as Deacon Frost’s Katana and Saya.

There’s also plenty of memorabilia from the franchise Ridley Scott birthed in 1979, Alien. You could bid on some goggles and gloves from Alien: Covenant or a Sigourney Weaver-signed jacket from the wildly underrated Alien 3, but personally, I’ve got my eyes on these Newborn Legs from Alien Resurrection. I think they’ll look great in my living room, a real conversation piece for guests.

You can browse the entire collection here. The auction officially starts on the 25th March and lasts for three days in total.
