Rune: Ragnarok Rune II has set a new release date after a few setbacks. The Norse-flavoured action RPG will now be released via the Epic Games Store (sorry) on 12th November. Developer Human Head Studios announced the news this week, and released a brand new Rune II trailer for us to have a look at. The game had previously been pushed back from its summer release date and transferred to the EGS.
In Rune II, which was, yes, originally called Rune: Ragnarok (a title that arguably tripled the excitement toward its angry Viking content for anyone who didnāt play Rune 1), you āhave been chosen by the gods to be Midgard’s savior ā receive their blessings and powerful abilities as you endeavor to end Ragnarok! Race against time to prevent the trickster Loki from destroying Midgard as he keeps the world in a perpetual state of chaos.ā
This does sound good, in theory, and may well help to tide some of us (me and at least three other people) over until Thor 4 and that Loki TV series arrive, but the new trailer for the game doesnāt fill us with a massive amount of confidence ā it looks a bit dodgy, to be kind.
