Don’t you just hate it when it’s your wedding day and you have to pull a rifle out to fight some bad guys atop your horse-pulled carriage? Yeah, me too.
But that’s exactly the situation in the first trailer for Enola Holmes 3. Millie Bobby Brown is back as Britain’s most famous detective’s younger sister and is now about to get married when trouble brews as her brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) is kidnapped.

And here’s a brief synopsis while we’re at it: Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.
Louis Partridge, Himesh Patel, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Susan Wokoma, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter join Brown in the cast of Enola Holmes 3. Jason Watkins also turns up in the trailer, but his role is still under wraps.
This film is penned by Adolescence’s Jack Thorne with Philip Barantini calling the shots from the director’s chair.
“What I love about this chapter is that Enola is stepping into a version of herself that feels much more defined but still evolving. She’s built something for herself, which is amazing, but she’s also questioning what she wants next, and I think that’s something so many people can relate to,” Brown has said about her character and the film, giving fans plenty to get excited about.
The Enola Holmes films have been very popular on Netflix. The first film was the most watched film on Netflix in its first five days and only behind Ryan Murphy’s Ratched in the overall most watched list. Enola Holmes 2 also topped such lists upon its release in 2022 and we have a feeling Enola Holmes 3 might do pretty well, too.
Enola Holmes 3 will hit Netflix on 1st July.
