Slow Horses, one of AppleTV+’s most acclaimed shows, is set to return to small screens in September. Details below.
Get ready to return to Slough House again! Season 4 of Slow Horses is set to premiere on 4th September on AppleTV+ with two episodes. Weekly episodes will then follow and the finale will be available on 2nd October.
The series is based on Mick Herron’s Slough House series of novels and is set within a division of the MI5 that houses all the employees who are terrible at their jobs, but haven’t made a mistake big enough to warrant firing them.
Leading the division is Gary Oldman’s Jackson Lamb, a farting, chain-smoking, utterly brilliant agent. Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas and Aimee-Ffion Edwards are among the cast returning to their roles for another series.
Joining the already handsome cast are Hugo Weaving, Joanna Scanlan, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and James Callis. Adam Randall is set to direct the fourth series. Slow Horses has also been renewed for a fifth season.
The plot details for Slow Horses season 4 have been kept under wraps, although fans of the book series might be a little more clued in. We do know that season 4 will open “with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House.” That sounds very serious.
No trailer has been released yet, but you can spy a first-look at Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb in the upcoming season at the top of this page.
