The Terror is returning for another season, this time subtitled Devil In Silver and will star Dan Stevens. More on the series below.

Dan Stevens has joined the upcoming season of The Terror. The new season of the anthology series has been dubbed Devil In Silver as we reported back in February when the series got the official green light for season 3.

Stevens is not only playing the main character of Pepper, but also producing the six episode season, which is expected to hit AMC in 2025. The season will be based on Victor LaValle’s novel The Devil In Silver, which follows Stevens’ working class moving man Pepper, who is committed to the New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital.

Variety’s scoop on the synopsis states that once there, Pepper “must contend with patients who work against him, doctors who harbor grim secrets, and perhaps even the very Devil himself. As Pepper navigates a hellscape where nothing is as it seems, he finds that the only path to freedom is to face down the entity which thrives on the suffering within New Hyde’s walls – but doing so may prove that the worst demons of all live inside him.”

LaValle will pen the season together with Chris Cantwell and Karyn Kusama is directing the first two episodes as well as executive producing. Ridley Scott is also an executive producer on the project and has been since season 1. Previous seasons of The Terror have been available on BBC Two so we suspect Devil In Silver might head there as well.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of The Terror: Devil in Silver. This series is a dark symphony of psychological horror and gripping drama, set to rock the audience,” Stevens said of his involvement. “Victor LaValle, Christopher Cantwell, and this incredible team have crafted a unique and twisted dance of devils and shadows. I look forward to delivering something epic that will echo through the halls like an iron bell.”
