M Night Shyamalan has announced his next feature project, and this time heāll be working with the rather prolific Dave Bautista.
What is it with these wrestlers? Perhaps itās the punishing nature of getting thrown around a ring for a living. Maybe itās the gruelling schedule of travelling to different cities every night, performing for crowd after crowd after crowd. Whatever it is, since migrating into acting, both Dwayne Johnson and Dave Bautista have emerged as two of the most prolific actors in Hollywood. They always seem to be attached to multiple projects and as such, have each amassed quite the catalogue of films.
Bautista can now add another director of note to the already-impressive list of filmmakers that he has collaborated with, including Rian Johnson, Denis Villeneuve, James Gunn, Zack Snyder and Sam Mendes. It has been announced that the actor will star in M Night Shyamalanās next project, titled
Knock at the Cabin.
Unsurprisingly, not much is known about the film at this point, not to mention that Shyamalanās projects usually carry a veil of secrecy with them anyway, although it has been stated that the project is scheduled to arrive with us in February 2023.
Knock At The Cabin will follow this yearās
Old, and as is typical with Shyamalan, will be written by the filmmaker too. Bautista is certainly on something of a roll on the moment, after managing to make a
Lethal Weapon-style buddy cop movie with Jason Momoa materialise, simply by pitching it on social media, before MGM snapped up the project. Itās a just reward for a talented and hard-working actor and weāre very interested to see where his collaboration with Shyamalan leads.
