Netflix adds a Rian Johnson director’s commentary for Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery to its streaming service.
The decline in the popularity of physical media has, in turn, led to a parallel decline in extra features too. For those of us who were and are fans of director’s commentaries on films, this has been a real loss, with little incentive for streamers to offer anything similar.
However, here’s a little treat. Netflix has now updated the release of Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery on its service, and has added an optional commentary track from writer/director Rian Johnson.
It’s a very, very welcome addition, and the commentary is available now. It’s also just the kind of feature that we hope gets lots of support, so that Netflix – and other streamers – look to explore further extra features of this ilk.
Fingers crossed anyway. For now, treat this as a very happy surprise.
