Alien: Earth is confirmed for the summer, and a new teaser trailer gives us the Alienās point of view. More here.
While we still donāt have an exact release date for Alien: Earth yet, we know that Noah Hawleyās TV show is coming later this year, at some point in the summer.
Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Timothy Olyphant, Kit Young, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Lily Newmark, Adrian Edmondson, Sandra Yi Sencindiver and Moe Bar-El co-star in the series, which is set two years before the events of Alien.
As the title suggests, the long-running franchise is expected to give us a good look at Earth itself around the time when the first film is set. We wonāt go into too many details here, but Ryan Lambie has previously offered a breakdown of Alien: Earth's last trailer which contains a few predictions and ideas of what to possible expect.
We do know that according to the release of a brief synopsis back in September, āa mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earthā and this trailer appears to show us a small section that crash landing.
Only not from the perspective of the shipās crew.
Instead, we seem to experience the catastrophe through the perspective of a xenomorph (which brings back a memory or two of Alien 3) and itās a thrilling, if brief experience. It gives nothing about the plot away so check it out below and remain spoiler-free. Magic.
