Film Stories Live events are getting back underway this year, with a whole bunch planned around the country in the 12 months ahead. And it all starts at the Mockingbird Cinema in Birmingham on Wednesday 25th March.
These events have been running in Birmingham now for seven years and counting (!), and this is the first at our new home. As always, it’s a nerdy 90 minute film conversation show, with me (Simon Brew), banging on about movies, telling stories, and poking a bit of fun at them. Then we chat to people in the local area who are actually making movies.
Then! At the end of every show – time allowing – there are some absolutely money can buy prizes to be given away as well. Wouldn’t say the prizes are bad, would just point out that one or two have, er, been left behind in the past.
You can find tickets for the show at Mockingbird Cinema’s website.
The show comes with an advisory 12A certificate, in case I get all potty mouthed and stuff.
Finally, here’s the poster for the show…
See you there (hopefully!)
