Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can arrives at its 20th birthday, and it’s getting a Steelbook release to mark the occasion.
I’m going out on a bit of a limb here to suggest that it’s hard to find someone who doesn’t get anything out of Steven Spielberg’s very entertaining caper Catch Me If You Can. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, with an excellent title sequence and a lovely John Williams score too, the movie arrives at its 20th birthday this year. If it’s Spielberg’s sole venture into caper movies of this ilk, then it’s really a rather good one.
The film isn’t getting a brand new disc release or a 4K disc either for its 20th birthday. But the occasion is being marked with a limited edition Steelbook, and that’ll have to do. It looks like the usual drill: a straight repackaging of the existing Blu-ray.
It goes on sale from October 3rd, and is available to preorder now. You can find more information, and pick a copy up, right here.
