Want to bring Cocaine Bear into your home? The film is heading to physical media in the UK – including 4K disc – this May: more here.
A very welcome hit in cinemas these past few weeks, the movie Cocaine Bear may not quite have lived up to its pretty insane premise and trailer, but it had a damn good go. Starring Keri Russell and Alden Ehrenreich, and directed by Elizabeth Banks, the story follows a bunch of drugs lost from a plane an American national park. Said drugs are then consumed by a great big bear. Splendid.
Said bear goes nuts, and there’s a 40 minute segment in the middle of the film that’s joyously savage. The ambulance bit is a moment I’ll happily replay for a start.
The film is coming to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK if you’ve missed it in the cinema too. Universal has set the UK disc release for May 29th, although we don’t have news of extra features as of yet. For the moment though, you can find more information – and order yourself a copy – right here.
