Sony is bringing a fresh deluxe boxset of six films on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray to the UK: more details here.
Sony is set to release the third in its deluxe Columbia Classics boxsets of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases next month, and a UK release has now been confirmed.
The sets to date – and including the new one – include six films each, and thus far, we’ve barely seen standalone releases of the movies that have been included. It’s an expensive way to get titles you otherwise couldn’t get hold of, but it’s clearly a model that’s working for Sony.
The six films then that are confirmed for Volume 3? They are It Happened One Night, From Here To Eternity, To Sir With Love, The Last Picture Show, Annie (the 1980s, very expensive version) and As Good As It Gets.
Each comes laden with extras, and the set come with a posh book as well.
The asking price at the time of writing is £135 for the box, and the UK release is down for October 24. You can find out more information, and order yourself a copy, here.
