November 1st looks set to be the best day to be a Doctor Who fan. Not only is its huge back catalogue launching on BBC iPlayer (barring one major, notable exception), but an evening of Doctor Who themed programming is also coming to BBC4 on the same day.. Kicking things off at 19:30 is one-hour documentary called Talking Doctor Who, which will see superfan and three-time Doctor Who himself, David Tennant, take a deep dive into the archives to guide viewers through the history of the show, featuring archive interviews with William Hartnell and Sylvester McCoy. This will be followed at 20:30 by Doctor Who At 60: A Musical Celebration. Recorded at Hoddinott Hall at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff on 28th September, the concert featured orchestral versions of music from various eras, as well as the premiere of the new iteration of Ron Grainerās iconic theme tune.
