Dungeons & Dragons starts shooting in Northern Ireland

The new Dungeons & Dragons movie commences filming, ahead of its release in the spring of 2023 – more details here.

Well, it’s been a long time coming, but the second major attempt to bring the classic role playing game Dungeons & Dragons to the big screen has now started filming.

Promisingly, this time it’s being directed by the Game Night team of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. The cast includes Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Rege-Jean Page and Justice Smith.  Daley and Goldstein have also penned the screenplay for the new film.

Filming is taking place in Northern Ireland at the moment, housed at the Titanic Studios complex. Entertainment One is releasing the film in the UK, and it’s currently set for a Friday March 3rd 2023.
