A print film magazine for youngsters, and it exists thanks to your support. Order the new Film Junior right here and support our work.
Introducing issue 20 of Film Junior magazine that’s now available for purchase. One of the joys of this magazine is getting young reporters to put their questions to film directors and stars. This issue is no exception. We’ve paid the young reporters, too, trying to demonstrate to them that their words have value.
If you’re new to the publication, it’s a 52-page print magazine aimed at younger film fans (around 7 to 14 years old), and it’s also mainly written by them too. The young writers come up with the majority of the ideas, the words are theirs, and they’re paid (in vouchers, that we pay for) for their work.
We sell this magazine via subscription and mail order. It’s not-for-profile and sadly, we don’t really get support from the UK film industry in helping us pay the bills. It’s individual copy sales that give us our fuel.
If there’s a young film fan in your life you want to give the gift of reading and the movies to, then you can subscribe to the next four editions of the magazine right here.
Here’s the cover of the new issue…

It leads with a huge interview with HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON director Dean DeBlois.
Also inside:
- Sonic The Hedgehog 3 director Jeff Fowler shares thoughts and secrets on the film
- A full report of the amazing Into Film short film competition
- How to edit your own movie

And much, much more!
