Universal Pictures have released a trailer for its upcoming all-female spy thriller, The 355, starring Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing and Penelope Cruz.
The film is presently set for a January 15th, 2021 release. Its plot revolves around a group of spies from different international counter-espionage agencies banding together to face an existential threat. Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramirez also feature.
The film is directed by Simon Kinsberg and co-written by the director along with Theresa Rebeck.
The idea for the project was first proposed to Kinsberg by Chastain when they were working together on X-Men: Dark Phoenix.
