Tilda Swinton and Honor Swinton Byrne headline the acclaimed The Souvenir – here’s the first trailer.
One to keep an eye out for, this. The Souvenir is the new film from the brilliant Joanna Hogg, and it’s a production that enjoyed a very successful debut at the Sundance Film Festival last month (it took home the World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury Award, no less).

It stars Tilda Swinton and Honor Swinton Byrne, in a story about a film student overcoming shyness and in a relationship with a less than reliable man, played by Tom Burke. Oh, and she has a mother who’s on the protective side, too (it’s a mother and daughter lead cast playing mother and daughter in the film). Richard Ayoade is also in the ensemble, and Martin Scorsese is executive producer.

The film lands in the US this May, although no UK release date has thus far been announced.
