Hot on the heels of last month’s teaser, feast your eyes on theThor: Love And Thunder trailer right here, ahead of its UK release on 8th July.
Only a month after dropping the teaser trailer, Marvel has released the full trailer for the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be arriving in July. Taika Waititi directs once again following 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok, his much-loved first outing which continued the adventures of the God of Thunder.
The new film picks up events following Avengers: Endgame and finds the mighty Thor trying to figure out what to do with himself now that the universe has been saved, until his ‘retirement’ is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. The trailer gives us our first look at Bale’s character too. Bale is known for some pretty extreme character transformations and whilst Gorr won’t match some of Bale’s truly radical changes, his look is really effective.
The latest entry in the series looks like it’ll continue in the irreverent style of Ragnarok and we’re quite sure nobody will be complaining about that.
Chris Pratt, Matt Damon, Tessa Thompson, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Karen Gillan, Melissa McCarthy, Jaimie Alexander and Russell Crowe co-star in the film. It’s quite the cast, and we’re looking forward to seeing them in action.
Here’s that trailer…
Thor: Love And Thunder is in UK cinemas on 8th July.
