Halloween Kills is heading to disc in the UK in January, and we’re getting a longer cut of the film as well: more details here.
Reviews for the most recent movie in the Halloween saga – Halloween Kills – weren’t as strong as those for the film that preceded it. The film, a middle part of a trilogy (with Halloween Ends arriving in 2022), will be trying to win more people over when it lands on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK. And we now learn that it’ll be released on those formats on January 17th 2022.
There’s quite a lot of extra material coming too. We’re promised an Extended Cut of the film for a start, as well as the following extra features…
- Gag Reel / Deleted & Extended Scenes / Haddonfield’s Open Wounds
- The Kill Team
- Strode Family Values
- 1978 Transformations
- The Power of Fear
- Kill Count
- Feature Commentary with Director/Co-writer David Gordon Green and Stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Judy Greer
You can find out more about the release over at its listing, where you can also preorder a copy. Here’s the Blu-ray listing. And here’s the 4K listing too.
We’ll leave you for now with the boxart of the Blu-ray release…
