It’s finally happening: Indiana Jones 5 gets underway in the UK later this month, it’s been revealed. After years and years of chatter about the film, it’s now been revealed that Indiana Jones 5 is finally – finally! – going before the cameras next week. The film, which will see Harrison Ford reprise the role of Indy for the final time, has already built up quite a cast. Alongside Ford, Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renee Wilson and Thomas Kretschmann are all set to appear. What’s more, this is going to be the first Indiana Jones film that won’t be directed by Steven Spielberg. Instead, James Mangold is taking over the controls. As always, precious little is known of the actual plot of the new film, outside of the fact that it’s due to be set in the 1960s. Filming is set to get going at Pinewood Studios in the UK next week, with the film just over a year away from release. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more about it… DeadlineThank you for visiting! If you’d like to support our attempts to make a non-clickbaity movie website: Follow Film Stories on Twitter here, and on Facebook here.
