Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen headline the British thriller, Jackdaw. Here’s the trailer for the upcoming film.
Jenna Coleman (of Doctor Who fame) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen recently starred opposite each other in Amazon Prime drama series Wilderness.
Now? They reunite in a thriller called Jackdaw, filmed in the north of England, and heading to UK cinemas in early 2024. Promotional work is very much underway on the film.
The synopsis reads as follows
A retired military man and motocross champion is now caring for his younger brother when he receives a mysterious assignment: to pick up a package in the North Sea. In need of money, he sets out to do the job, but it turns out to be a trap. Then when his brother disappears, he finds himself thrust into a dizzying and violent race on his trusty motorcycle through the nocturnal underworld of northern England.
The cast also includes Thomas Turgoose, Allan Mustafa, Rory McCann, Vivienne Acheampong, Joe Blakemore and Leon Harrop.
It marks the feature debut of director Jamie Childs, who previously worked on the television adaptations of The Sandman and His Dark Materials. Childs also wrote the screenplay for the feature.
