The sequel to Attack The Block appears to be gaining momentum, as John Boyega shares an image of an official story document..
After over a decade of speculation and hope, last year it was confirmed that Attack The Block 2 is actually happening.
For those who haven’t seen it, Attack The Block took the premise of an alien invasion and rooted it firmly in reality, as the fight for the survival of the human race is left to a gang of delinquents in a South London tower block. With a cast including Jodie Whitaker and Nick Frost, it launched the career of John Boyega. The film has become a cult classic in the years since its release, and fans have been clamouring for a sequel.
Now, star John Boyega has shared an image of an official document with the sequel’s title Attack the Block 2, which you can see over at Collider. Boyega is returning as gang leader Moses for the film, which will once again be written and directed by Joe Cornish.
Long before this film hits the big screen, though, Boyega will next be seen in hostage thriller Breaking, for which a trailer was recently released.
