Jungle Cruise starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson now set for 2021

The Rock and Emily Blunt star in Jungle Cruise, based on the Disneyland ride, but we won’t now see it for another year. UPDATE: The latest Disney theme park ride to be turned into a movie is the latest film to get a year-long delay as a result of the Coronavirus shutdown. Disney has announced that the film will now be released on July 30th 2021. The film stars Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson, with Jack Whitehall, Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti and Edgar Ramirez also in the ensemble. Ignore the release date on them, obviously… And here’s the brand new trailer for the movie… Here’s the first trailer for the film, that popped up in October 2019… And the synopsis reads thus… Inspired by the famous Disneyland theme park ride, Disney’s JUNGLE CRUISE is an adventure-filled, Amazon-jungle expedition starring Dwayne Johnson as the charismatic riverboat captain and Emily Blunt as a determined explorer on a research mission. Also starring in the film are Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, with Jesse Plemons, and Paul Giamatti.
