The new Jurassic World film is shooting now.
The closing part of the current Jurassic World trilogy has begun production, and the official title of the movie has now been announced.
It’s called Jurassic World: Dominion, and – without giving away spoilers – it looks set to pick up the narrative thread left behind by the last film. This time though Colin Trevorrow is back in the director’s chair. He helmed Jurassic World, but sat out Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (in spite of co-writing the script), when he was instead expected to direct Star Wars: Episode IX.
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum are all back for the new movie. Colin Trevorrow and Emily Carmichael have penned the screenplay. And the film is due in cinemas on June 11th 2021.
Here’s Trevorrow’s social media post confirming the new title and the start of production…
