M3gan is just the kind of creature you’d want to let into your home – and she’s arriving on DVD and Blu-ray shortly. More here.

The first hit movie of 2023 was, you might recall, the remarkably effective M3gan, the horror thriller (although more thriller than horror, we’d argue) tale of a virtual doll that doesn’t quite go as its creator planned. Even if it goes pretty much how the rest of us figured it might.

The film was cut down for its cinema release, getting a PG-13 rating in the US. Now though, the cut footage is (inevitably) being restored for its disc release, which will be advertised as having an unseen cut on it.

In the UK, the film lands on digital download on April 3rd, and the physical media unveiling follows on April 17th. It’s just DVD and Blu-ray, with no 4K disc. And in fairness, there’s a few extra features here. Here’s what’s listed, that definitely wasn’t copied and pasted from the press release.

A New Vision of Horror – Filmmakers and cast break down how the world of M3GAN was created, including the initial idea, through production under the leadership of director Gerard Johnstone

Bringing Life to M3GAN – See how animatronics, puppets, and actor Amie Donald helped make M3GAN as real as possible

Getting Hacked – A behind-the-scenes look at how cast and crew accomplished some of the film’s complex stunts and gory deaths

And there’s also the alternate cut of the film too.

It’s up for order now, and you can find more on the release here.
