It’s hard to see any film and TV productions still filming over the next month or two.

The significant impact of Coronavirus’ spread isn’t just taking its toll on this summer’s collection of blockbuster movies, it’s also starting to bite into next year as well.

Most, if not all, major studios are now starting to put their film production onto hiatus for the foreseeable future. Amongst the big films whose filming has closed down in the last few days are Jurassic World: Dominion, The Batman, the Dwayne Johnson-headlined Netflix film Red Notice, The Little Mermaid, Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Rings and Peter Pan & Wendy, amongst others.

Mission: Impossible 7, meanwhile, paused filming a few weeks back and isn’t likely to start shooting again anytime soon.

It’s a fair bet that by the end of the week, pretty much all film and TV production will have ground to a halt. As that knocks on release dates, we’ll let you know. But expect quite a few updates.
