Argylle, starring Henry Cavill, is potentially Matthew Vaughn’s latest franchise – and the first film arrives in February 2024.

Stepping away from his Kingsman franchise for a while after three films, producer and director Matthew Vaughn has been putting the finishing touches to his latest venture, Argylle.

He’s not straying too far from the world of Kingsman mind, with Argylle billed as a globe-trotting spy adventure. He’s cast Henry Cavill in the lead, and the cast also boasts Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose and – once again – Samuel L Jackson.

The film has attracted funding from Apple, although it’s still going to head to cinemas before it makes it to the Apple TV+ streaming service. It’s based on the book from Ellie Conway, and Vaughn – who still has to complete his Kingsman work with Kingsman 3 – is planning several sequels to Argylle.

Jason Fuchs has penned the script for the movie, and it’s set to hit cinemas in February 2024. We’re guessing a trailer can’t be too far away.
