Our London show returns on Thursday 1st June 2023 – and tickets are on sale now. Plus: a very special guest!

This coming Thursday, the 1st of June, sees our latest Movie Geek Live show land in London. It’s going to be our last live event for a few months, and we’re thrilled to announce we’re going to be joined once again by a very special guest.

Sarah Smith is the director of the animated hits Arthur Christmas and Ron’s Gone Wrong, and after a long career with Aardman, she was the co-founder of the UK’s Locksmith Animation. She’s a writer, producer, director, and we’re looking forward to hearing more of her story, and finding out what she’s up to.

Movie Geek Live is a live show for film fans, where Simon – er, that’s me – nerds on about films, and brings in brilliant filmmaking guests. There are also terrible prizes given away at the end, and please take this as us apologising in writing in advance.

The show is 90 minutes, with clips, bad puns, those wonderful guests and lots of movie stuff. It takes place at King’s Place in London, starting at 7.30pm. And you can find more information – and buy a ticket or two – right here.
