Movie nerd gold awaits attendees of the next Film Stories Movie Geek Live show, that’s taking place in Birmingham on Wednesday 27th September 2023. We’re back at the Midlands Arts Centre, where the people are lovely, and the beverages are really quite pleasant too.
Firstly, we’ve got Oscar-winning Nina Hartstone, who picked up an Academy Award for her work on Bohemian Rhapsody, and has worked on films as diverse as Cyborg Cop, Cats, Gravity and Black Mirror. She has just completed work on Emerald Fennell’s new film, Saltburn. It would be fair to say she has stories.
And then there’s her dad: Graham V Hartstone. He’s our second guest of the night and ohmygod, just look at the films he’s worked on and talks about. Here’s ten:
Aliens, Superman: The Movie, Blade Runner, Eyes Wide Shut, GoldenEye, Clash Of The Titans, Carry On England, Legend, Hellraiser, Santa Claus: The Movie.
The pair of them are brilliant storytellers, and you’ll be able to see both of them live in Birmingham as part of our new Movie Geek Live show. They’re coming a long way to see us.
