Come for the film geekery, stay for the terrible jokes! Simon Brew and Movie Geek Live are returning to London later this month.
All your London-based movie geek dreams are coming true in November! On Thursday 23 November 2023, Film Stories editor and the ultimate movie nerd Simon Brew is bringing his critically acclaimed live show to London.
For 90 minutes, Simon will entertain you with hilarious limericks, fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and he will be joined on-stage by excellent guests, more on those a bit later… There will be jokes too, but we can’t guarantee they’ll be any good. We would also like to apologise for the bad puns in advance. There will also be prizes for some lucky attendees and we have been assured Simon’s copy of Cats (2019) on DVD won’t be one of them.
But most importantly, there will be a lot of nerding out about movies. 90 minutes of pure movie geek heaven. We’ll be celebrating cinema and the magic of the movies.
The event will be taking place at King’s Place in London, where Movie Geek Live recorded a very special episode of the Film Stories Podcast with Gurinder Chadha. King’s Place is only a few minutes walk from King’s Cross Station. Doors open at 7pm and Simon will be on stage from 7.30pm.
