The star-studded Adam McKay black comedy Donā€™t Look Up will arrive in December, and thereā€™s plenty more films coming to Netflix between now and then. If youā€™re planning your Christmas Eve already this year, amidst humming terrible Christmas number ones seeming against your will, you may want to add watching Donā€™t Look Up to your itinerary. Netflix has announced the release date for the upcoming drama, that features the talents of Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio. Well, them, and a starry ensemble featuring Jonah Hill, Rob Morgan, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi, Cate Blanchett, Meryl Street, Himesh Patel, Matthew Perry, Chris Evans, Tomer Sisley, Melanie Lynskey, Gina Gershon, Michael Chiklis, and Paul Guilfoyle. The film ā€˜tells the story of two low-level astronomers, who must go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy planet Earth.ā€™ Thereā€™s plenty to look forward to before then too. The streaming giant has committed to releasing a film every week on their platform, but thereā€™s far more than that coming as we hit the final third of 2021. In fact, we now have a full list. Itā€™s also worth noting that some of the listed films (including Donā€™t Look Up and Antoine Fuquaā€™s The Guilty, featuring Jake Gyllenhaal and Ethan Hawke) are also getting limited cinema releases, although what that looks like yet we donā€™t know. You can peruse the full list of films releasing on Netflix below.
