Nick Nolte and Barbara Hershey will star together in Eugene The Marine, and we’ve got a few more details here.
Nick Nolte and Barbara Hershey have enviable filmographies by anybody’s standards. From Nolte in Cape Fear and Affliction to Hershey in The Portrait Of A Lady and Beaches, the two aren’t short of good roles.
Though they both appear in the television series Paradise Lost, Eugene The Marine will be the first film they will star in together. The official synopsis for the upcoming project reads as follows:
Gene, a widower and former Marine who finds his highly regimented life deteriorating after his son begins pressuring him to sell his longtime home. When a mysteriously familiar woman appears in his life, Gene starts to loosen up, until his nightmares and reality begin to blur.
Nolte and Hershey headline the film, no other casting has yet been announced.
Hank Bedford will direct from a script he co-wrote with Cesare Gagliardoni.
Eugene The Marine will begin production soon, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
