Oscar-winner The Father heads to disc in August

Anthony Hopkins’ Oscar-winning performance in The Father is available on disc in the UK next month: more details. Lionsgate has announced the home release details for the Academy Award-winning movie, The Father. The film will be getting a DVD and Blu-ray release in the UK, as well as arriving on digital download. The digital version will be available from August 27^th, and the DVD and Blu-ray will be on sale from August 30^th. Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman lead the ensemble for the film, which also includes Rufus Sewell, Imogen Poots, Mark Gatiss and Olivia Williams. Florian Zeller directs, having co-written the script with Christopher Hampton. The disc will feature deleted scenes an da filmmaker Q&A.
