Parasite is the big winner at the 2020 Academy Awards.
Overnight, the annual Academy Awards took place, with the flat-out headline news being that the brilliant Parasite has become the first film not in the English language to ever win Best Picture.
It overcame the favourite going into the evening, 1917, which picked up prizes for the likes of Roger Deakins. Notably, The Irishman came home with nothing.
