Get a glimpse of the unnerving horror thriller Smile ahead of its release in UK cinemas this very week.
If you’ve been out to the cinema of late, chances are you’ve happened upon the rather disconcerting poster for Smile staring at you. It’s certainly caught this writer’s attention on more than a few occasions, and is a reminder of just how powerful a single still image from a film can sometimes be.
Smile, a horror thriller, follows Dr Rose Cutter, who after ‘witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Rose (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can’t explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.’
With the film releasing on Wednesday here in the UK, the final trailer arrives just ahead of the film itself, which is releasing in a quiet week, something that is quickly becoming the norm of late.
The film stars Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Kylle Gallner, Rob Morgan, Kal Penn, Caitlin Stasey, and Judy Reyes. You can catch the trailer below…
