The highly-anticipated film Possessor edges closer to a UK release, whilst continuing to earn rave reviews on the festival circuit.

Brandon Cronenberg’s highly anticipated Possessor has scooped another brace of prestigious awards as it moves towards general release in the UK. The film won Best Film and Best Director at the 53rd Sitges Film Festival in Spain.

The first trailer for this science fiction/horror hybrid dropped back in September and looks very interesting indeed. The film follows a corporate assassin who uses brain implant technology to possess the bodies of others in order to take out high value targets.

Whilst our American friends will be getting the film this month, we now have to wait until November 27th for a release via Signature Entertainment, although early signs are that it may also get a limited theatrical opening in the UK.

In the meantime however, you can check the blinding trailer out below.
