Horror legend Sam Raimi will produce Don’t Movie, alongside the production company behind this year’s Barbarian.

Barbarian is one of the more arresting horrors that made its way to cinemas this year, and Hammerstone Studios, the production team behind the film, has wasted little time in following it up with a swathe of new projects.

Last week we reported that it would be collaborating with video game designer, Hideo Kajima, to create a film version of the game Death Stranding. Hammerstone has also teamed up with Capstone Studios on Boy Kills World, an action-thriller featuring Bill Skarsgård, which is currently in post-production.

Now it has been announced that Hammerstone will be teaming up with Capstone once more, and adding horror legend Sam Raimi into the mix, to co-produce Don’t Move.

The film will explore the rather horrific sounding premise of a seasoned killer injecting a grieving woman with a paralytic agent. She must then ‘run, fight and hide before her body completely shuts down.’

Adam Schindler and Brian Netto will co-direct, the pair having recently helmed episodes of Sam Raimi’s horror anthology series, 50 States Of Fright for Quibi, the now-defunct short form streaming platform. No casting has yet been announced but there’s a horrifying concept at the core of this project and some real pedigree behind it. We’ll bring you more updates on Don’t Move, including casting, as we hear them.
