Eddie Izzard stars in and co-writes Six Minutes To Midnight, which is now getting a physical media release this coming summer.
Released earlier this year via Sky is the wartime drama Six Minutes To Midnight. The film stars Eddie Izzard, Judi Dench, James D’Arcy, Celyn Jones and Jim Broadbent, with the screenplay penned by Izzard and Jones too. Andy Goddard directs.
For Izzard, this was a film that she’d been trying to get to the screen for a good decade or so (we covered it in more detail in a back issue of our magazine). A cinema release had been planned before Covid hit, and like many movies, it had to debut on a home platform instead.
The movie remains available on the Sky Cinema service, but if you’re inclined more towards physical media, Lionsgate will be releasing it on DVD from July 26th. The disc will also come with a behind the scenes feature as well. No Blu-ray option for this one, but a DVD is better than nothing.
