Up to ten lucky Goonies fans can take part in a very special movie night, with the help of the Life After Movies crewā¦
Weāve done plenty of coverage of the Life After crew over the last few years. Their latest film, Life After The NeverEnding Story, only came out last week, but director Lisa Downs is already working full-steam ahead on another documentary on a classic film ā and this oneās a doozyā¦
Life After The Goonies will explore the life and legacy of one of the most iconic films of the 1980s, featuring interviews with key figures in the production ā including the late Richard Donner himself.
The backer rewards this time around are pretty special, too. £45 will get you the film on VHS; £500 will get you an appearance in the documentary; £1,000 will give you a private tour of the iconic Goonies house, and a cool £2,500 will earn you an exclusive movie night there with up to nine other mega-fans.
The filmmakers are aiming to get the doc out in time for the filmās 40th anniversary next year, hence the £65,000 goal for the campaign.

āJust like our other āLife After…ā documentaries, LIFE AFTER THE GOONIES will be THE definitive documentary celebrating one of the greatest ā if not THE greatest ā childhood movies of all time.
āThrough cast, crew & fan interviews, this documentary will delve behind the scenes of the production and explore what it really took to make such a classic, as well as celebrate the incredible and enduring legacy.ā
