The line up for Taskmaster series 18 has been confirmed, with Jack Dee and Rosie Jones among the famous names.

Now that we’ve come to the end of yet another joyous ten weeks of Taskmaster, it’s already time to look forward to the next series.

According to the British Comedy Guide, the line up for series 18 is as follows: Andy Zaltzman, Babatunde Aléshé, Emma Sidi, Jack Dee and Rosie Jones.

The British Comedy Guide also reported that a new spin-off series called Taskmasterclass will begin on Channel 4 on Thursday 6th June. The show will highlight the contribution of “brains behind the tasks, and feature interviews with former contestants about their time on the programme”. Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne will narrate the hour-long episodes. In the first one, the hosts will discuss “whether there is any point to the seemingly pointless tasks on Taskmaster“, in the process looking at previous tasks that featured contestants including Guz Khan, Ed Gamble, Jo Brand, Paul Chowdhry and Morgana Robinson.

A VR game will launch on 13th June which you can add it to your wishlist on Steam now. Junior Taskmaster, a spin-off series featuring 9 to 11 year-old contestants with Rose Matafeo as the Taskmaster and Mike Wozniak as her assistant – is set to air on TV later this year.

As if that wasn’t enough, this week Taskmaster: The Live Experience in London was announced. You can enter a ballot to win the chance to buy tickets here.

Taskmaster will continue on Channel 4 until at least 2026. You can also see Alex Horne host Have I Got News For You for the first time on Friday 7th June at 9pm on BBC One, alongside team captains Ian Hislop and Paul Merton and special guests Carol Vorderman and Jack Dee.
