The Dude is returning to the big screen, with the news that The Big Lebowski is returning to UK cinemas this spring.
Thoroughly enjoying bringing stories of big screen releases in the UK your way on this site, and here’s another. This time too, a modern classic is coming back to cinemas, just to get spring off to a smashing start.
The news here is that The Dude himself will be unleashed again in the UK on March 31st 2023. That’s when Park Circus has organised a re-release of the much-loved Coen Brothers’ classic, The Big Lebowski.
Many won’t have had the chance to see this one on the big screen. Others will have done, and might just suddenly feel very old, given that the bloody thing is now 25 years old. Either way, it’s very much worth a cinema trip for.
Currently, it looks like the re-release is a decent, albeit not hugely wide re-release. Hopefully more and more cinemas pick it up though, and pre-booking should be opening up in the weeks ahead.
