The first four Star Trek films arrive on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format in the UK this September – more details here. Following a leaked listing a few weeks ago, it’s now been officially confirmed that Paramount is releasing the first four Star Trek movies on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. They’ll come in an extras-packed boxset, with the original cinema release of the first movie – The Motion Picture – the cut of choice there. A separate release of a remastered director’s cut is also being planned. For now though, it’s the first four films in one box. The set was announced in the US earlier this week and we’ve now got the official confirmation that it’s heading to the UK on September 6th. It’ll cost £80 by the looks of things, and you can find out more information – and order yourself a copy – right here. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too long before the other Trek films come along. We’ll keep you posted as we find out more.
