It’s a YouTube channel that every Friday night brings us a new filmed performance of a show or concert, that’s available to watch for free, for a short period of time.
This weekend’s performance? Well, it promises to be a good one. It’s a recording of War Of The Worlds, the hugely successful concert arena tour of Jeff Wayne’s stage musical take on the H G Wells novel.
The version we’re getting to see from tonight (assuming you’re reading this on Friday!) boasts a cast line up that includes Jason Donovan, Marti Pellow, Ricky Wilson and Liam Neeson (who narrates the production), and it comes of course with Waynes’ famous and much-loved music.
The show goes live for 48 hours from Friday at 7pm. You then have until Sunday afternoon to watch it before it’s removed, and a new show follows next weekend.
The show will appear in the window below, or click through to see it on YouTube…
