Sean Harris and Joel Egerton headline Netflix thriller The Stranger, and here’s the first trailer for the film.
Sean Harris has given some extraordinary performances over the years. Stealing a film from Michael Caine is no mean feat, but Harris managed it in a few minutes of screen time as a terrifying drug addict in Harry Brown. He brought the same intensity to roles as varied as villain Solomon Lane in the Mission Impossible series to indie films liked 2014’s The Goob.
Now, he’s starring alongside Joel Egerton in The Stranger, a new thriller that’s on its way to Netflix.
The synopsis reads as follows:
A small circle of seasoned undercover cops must pose as a vast and influential criminal network to catch a murderer who has evaded conviction for eight years.
Harris and Egerton star alongside Ewan Leslie and Matthew Sutherland.
Thomas M. Wright directs from a screenplay he wrote.
The Stranger will land on Netflix on the 19th October. Watch the trailer below:
