Training Day is heading to 4K disc in the UK in February, and debuting Warner Bros’ 100th anniversary artwork on the box as well.
Warner Bros is kicking off its 100th anniversary year with some special new 100th birthday artwork for its physical media releases. It looks like the first beneficiary will be the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Antoine Fuqua’s movie, Training Day.
Starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke – and winning an Academy Award for the former – the movie of course follows Hawke’s rookie cop on his first day of training (who knew?), and things don’t quite go as expected.
The 4K disc release has been earmarked for February 27th in the UK, and it’s going to carry over extras from the Blu-ray edition of the film too, courtesy of the extra disc included in the box.
You can find out more about the release, and order yourself a copy, right here.
